The thoughts of the travel, life experiences and instances across continents are inseparable in the lives of many of those who emigrated to distant lands from their motherland, and along with them they also carried a rich cultural baggage that is inseparable ingredient of their socio-cultural life. Bhasha, Veshamu, Desamu, etc are some of the important elements of this baggage, which have often been, identified as markers of identity. Prof. Katta Murty focuses on some of these aspects of Telugudanamu and situates it through narration of life experiences. We at
www.telugudiaspora.com express our immense gratitude to Prof.
Katta G. Murty for his literary contribution. We also thank Shri. Murali Nandula for his timely help at various occasions.
